Today marks the day that Stella has been alive for 7 months. Now I know, 7 months is not a big mile stone for most, but for Stella it is HUGE!
We have been through many ups and downs with little miss Stella over the 5 short months we have had her from her tantrums to her sassing as well as the many sleepless nights caused by her periodic need for constant entertainment making for some pretty exhausting times. Even with those tiring times, we still love her and she is still a very good dog. She just has a little bigger personality than most. Actually, she is quite like a human in her demanding nature and constant need for us (even more so than your average dog).
As we hit the 7 month marker with her we see the lovely terrible twos starting. Thankfully these terrible twos are not nearly as bad as some dogs go through but they are still upon us and it makes for some very tiring days (and nights) when she is at her worst. From what I hear, it is no different than having an actual human toddler, we just have the freedom to kennel her or put her outside if she is naughty.
We will embrace this transition into her new stage of life and keep moving forward, some days barely surviving, until she comes back out of this testing stage and turns into an even better dog from her good puppy hood.
