Between not allowing her to sleep and the constant barking she was a little hellion to say the least. But when the girl’s brother came over to help with the dogs, who had worn her down by this point, things got interesting.
Upon going to leave he realized his keys were missing. They searched high and low for his keys with no luck finding them when FINALLY they found them in a nicely dug hole with some leaves in it to help hide them a little better. Our “sweet” Stella had taken them and hid them on him all the while she watched while they searched everywhere for them.
Monday morning I received a text saying they were finally good for her Sunday night except for the minor issue of Stella eating her shoes…. Something she has never done before I should add.
We now know that Stella does not handle mom and dad being gone very well and shows this by making life miserable for whoever is taking care of her.
Since arriving home, she has made life miserable for us as well so slowly we are hoping to phase her back into her normal schedule and get everyone back on track in the house. It has been a couple of long nights with her so far and I don’t foresee them getting any better any time soon….
