How are YOU planning to take on the New Year?
Precisely!
Many will make a list of resolutions that are just plain ridiculous for a person to stick to and achieve. So why not make one a little more simple?
Start out with someone easy like, clean one room in the house from top to bottom. Maybe throw in some organizing ideas for that room. Once you have accomplished that room move on to the next and so on. It really can be that simple and easy to stick with.
Rules to abide by when planning your resolution list?
DO NOT OVERWHELM YOURSELF! Make sure that the resolutions you choose are reasonable and achievable before penning them onto your list of resolutions.
I decided to tackle our bedroom Closet first. Then bedroom. And now I have moved onto the kitchen, Organizing cupboards and the pantry even rearranging the dining area to try and make it more functional for housing two very large dog kennels and our dining room table. After the main living floor is accomplished the downstairs will be tackled. Going through old boxes and bins of storage from when we moved in and tossing or donating things we no longer use or need. Once that is accomplished (it is a very large task) I will move on to my office and declutter that space as well.
Take on the New Year in small resolutions and work your way up to the larger ones to ensure you do not get yourself over loaded and to make your goals achievable in the coming year.
